Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how Shalom Meraki (Willemstad, Curaçao) handles your personal data. We follow the Curaçao Personal Data Protection Ordinance (Landsverordening bescherming persoonsgegevens).

What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number; the appointments you book, with your notes for the specialist; shop orders and delivery address; your reviews; messages you send us. If you create an account we also keep your password (encrypted — we can never see it) and, if you switch it on, your sign-in security settings.

Why we use it

To plan and confirm your appointments, send you the booking PDF and reminders, deliver your orders, answer your questions, ask how your visit was, and keep our accounts and tax administration. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

Who else receives it

Only the services we need: our web host (Hostinger), Cloudflare (spam protection on forms), Sentoo and your bank when you pay online, and Google Maps when you view the map on the contact page. They may only use your data to provide their service.

How long we keep it

Bookings and orders are kept as long as the law requires for our administration (in Curaçao up to 10 years). You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard; messages are deleted when no longer needed.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the website needs to work: to keep you logged in, remember your language and protect forms. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Visitor statistics

We count visits anonymously (which page, country or island, type of device, how you found us) to improve the website. This works without cookies, your IP address is not stored, and the data can't be linked to you. It is deleted after 13 months.

You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Contact us at [email protected] or +599 9 000 0000. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the data protection supervisor of Curaçao.
